Black-owned premium streetwear brand DIPLOMACY partnered with NBA New Orleans Pelicans player, Wes Iwundu, on its upcoming Free the Future capsule collection, launching on Juneteenth. A portion of proceeds from the capsule will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Houston, an organization close to Iwundu that brings after school programs to their communities' most at-risk youth.

Creative Director Eric Archibald shares that, “the NBA is where fashion and self-expression is today… basketball players have taken their style and activism to the next level… we’re really excited to be working with Wes on this.”

Wes Iwundu collaborated on this uplifting collection of statement tees, hoodies, shorts, socks and accessories, all made in California. Hoodies are made with premium fabrics, such as combed cotton and brushed loopback French Terry.

When asked about the motivation behind the collection, Iwundu explains, “with virus raging across the world, and so much economic hardship, racial injustice, and political division, this is a time for all of us to imagine the world as it could be. We may have physically been in lockdown, but the key to escape is in our imagination.”

Free the Future, Diplomacy x Wes Iwundu’s capsule collection will be priced at $20 - $210, all customers will receive a limited edition Free The Future mask and sticker with each order. The collection will be available for purchase at diplomacyworldwide.com on Juneteenth (June 19th, 2021).
